ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS

Projects like this can be overwhelming, we understand. In the tabs below we have done our best to provide you with some answers to commonly asked questions. As we become aware of more important questions we will add to this list.


Q How much will this cost us?

We estimate that between the architectural design cost, contractor cost, building cost, fees and finishing expenses, the total cost of this project will be about $500,000.

Q Where will the money from the project come from?

First and foremost, it is important to understand that in an ultimate sense it comes from God because God provides all that we have, including our money. And what He gives us, He gives us to steward well. So we are praying God moves in many peoples hearts to joyfully, sacrificially, generously, consistently, and worshipfully give to this work.

Q When will the buildout be finished?

We are projecting the buildout to be completed by Spring 2017. However, we understand that with building processes and the city codes and other hangups, this date may be extended. But by God's grace this is the date we are hopeful for.

Q Why does Harvest need a building?

We believe the mission of the Church is to glorify God by making disciples. This new facility is simply a means/instrument for discipleship that would allow us to provide more opportunity for more kingdom progress in the most effective way possible.

Q Why not just continue to meet at Sonoran Sky Elementary?

Even if we stay at the school for now, it will not be able to contain what God will continue to do moving forward. A permanent facility enables more impact for the glory of God, than being in our current set-up and tear-down situation. Additionally, having our own facility compliments our vision/values and enables more people to worship Jesus

Q How many people will this building seat?

The capacity for seating in the new auditorium will be 307 seats, with the possibility of overflow if needed. Additionally, we will have office space, storage and plenty of classrooms for Harvest Kids and other events.

Q How can I get involved?

Join us in prayer that God would lead and receive all the glory in this endeavor. We do not wish to run ahead of God, but we see his hand guiding in this process. Pray continually for our Elders, the leadership teams, the people at Harvest, and the dollars that need to be raised to see this happen. Secondly, consider financially giving to this effort. Ask God what sacrificial gift, beyond normal giving, would be appropriately sacrificial for you to make. Finally, share to others in your sphere of influence the vision and the passion for this work that God is building. Encourage others to greater involvement and investment.

We Take The Financial Integrity
Of This Project Very Seriously

Your generosity is being treated with the utmost respect and care. Our highest priority is to protect your financial contribution by exercising wise and prudent planning as well as minimizing our exposure to debt in the overall scope of our project.
 

Every donation that we receive is placed into a separate bank account that has been created specifically to manage the funding of the Advance Campaign. At no time will your campaign contribution be placed into the general operating budget of the church. We will do our best to provide up-to-date financials on the process as we go, including all pledges made and expenses incurred.
